Program Info
Spring is the main season for lacrosse where we expect our players to participate in all practices and games. The remainder of the year we offer optional clinics and leagues for girls to learn about the game of lacrosse or practice their skills.
Spring
Our normal season which includes 2-3 weekday practices and weekend games. Occasional team bonding events as well.
Summer
Optional training sessions for all ages K-8 once a week for the entirety of summer break.
Fall
Optional clinic offered by our high school team. The clinic is open to all girls K-8 and is run by our incredible high school coaches and players.
Winter
Optional training opportunities for all ages are held indoor. There is also an option to play in a winter league for the 7/8 grade team.

Erin Mathews
Middle School
Erin started coaching our middle school team in 2019. She is a Hempfield alum and played lacrosse all 4 years. She began playing lacrosse when she was in 4th grade.
Dave Schott
5/6
Dave started coaching with Hempfield for the 3/4 team in 2022. He graduated from Dallastown in York County where he played lacrosse all 4 years in high school.
Nick Yando
3/4
Nick is entering his second year coaching the 3/4 team. He is a Hempfield alum, playing lacrosse all four years then going on to play at Alvernia College. From playing and coaching, he brings over 25 years of lacrosse experience to the HGLC.
Nichole Arnold
K-2
Nichole has been coaching the Hempfield K-2 team since 2022. She has 2 girls that play for Hempfield lacrosse teams and has been involved in the club since 2019.
